Description

FIRST NOTICE. This requirement is 100 percent small business set-aside. The Military District of Washington Acquisition Center (MDWAC) is soliciting proposals for OMB Circular A-76 Cost Comparison for the Quality Assurance functions at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Any resultant contract will have a performance period that includes a base year with four option periods. NAICS is 56121 with small business size standard of $20.0 million. The anticipated contract type is cost plus award fee. The solicitation will not result in contract award if Government performance is determined to be more advantageous. The study will determine if it is more economocial to contract out the functions to a commercial activity or retain the functions within the federal workforce. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The projected date of issuance of the solicitation is on/or about 30 June 2001 with proposal due on/about 23 October 2001. The issue date and date for receipt of proposal is estimated. Actual date and time for receipt of proposals will be specified in the solicitation. The solicitation will not be available in hard copy. When solicitation is issued a web site will provided.
