Description

1. The DOE Albuquerque Operations Office intends to award a single requirements supply contract for ammunition to support the DOE and Contractor sites. firm fixed price contract with four one-year = options for additional quantities which may or may not be exercised at the discretion of the government. Quantities vary from 15 one thousand = round units up to 1676 one thousand round units of ammunition to be delivered within 30 days of the order, to various DOE offices. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered 2. Specifications: Ammunition shall meet North Atlantic Treaty = Organization (NATO) ; Z299.2-1988 -- Shotgun Ammunition; Z299.3-1990 -- Handgun = Ammunition; Z299.4-1986 -- Rifle Ammunition. The tolerance for the amount of grain = for all cartridges is: To 100 grains: + or -- 2%; 100 grains and up: + or -- = 1 =BD %. Shell casings shall be brass for handgun and rifle ammunition. = Shell casings for shotgun for 00 buck and slug ammunition shall be of = contrasting colors. E.g. 00 buck casings red and slug casings green. In the event = the ammunition specified is not included in the appropriate ANSI standard, dimensions shall meet the most closely listed cartridge and pressures = shall be within the factory stated limits for the following firearms; 9mm Handgun/SMG: Smith and Wesson, Models 5906 and 3906; Sig Sauer, Models = 226 and 225; Berretta, Model 92F; H&K, MP-5, MP-5SD and P-7; Colt, 9mm SMG; Glock, Models 17 and 19 ; 38 SPC Handguns; Smith and Wesson, L and K = frame revolvers, 4 inch; .40 S&W handguns; Glock, Models 22 and 23; .45 = Handguns; Colt, Model 1911; Smith and Wesson, Models 4506 and 4516; Sig Sauer, = Model 220; .223 Rifles; Colt, Models M-16/AR -- 15, M-4; H&K, Models 23, 33, = 53; Ruger, Model M-14;.308 Rifles; Military M-14; H&K, Models G-3, 21 and = 91; Remington, Model 700. Velocity measurements shall be stated and = consistent within + or -- (five percent) of the stated velocity. 4. The following notes are included by reference: Note 26. 5.
