Description
The Cryptologic Systems Group (CPSG) intends to award a Fixed Price contract for the procurement of various COMSEC component items and Maintenance Training Course for the KT-43A Tester to the OEM, ITT Industries, Systems Division, 1460 Garden of the Gods Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80907. This proposed acquisition will include the following: 1 each KT-43A RF Chassis, P/N RTL-MTE-RF; 1 each KT-43A Digital Chassis, P/N: None; 1 each PC (Hard Drive), P/N: RTL-MTE-PCHD and KT-43A Maintenance Training Course. Required Delivery: All component items: 60 days after issuance of the contract; Training Course: 180 days after issuance of the contract. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one (1) responsible source. The Government intends to make an award by August 2001. No technical data/drawings/Technical Orders are available. If a firm believes it is capable of performing the Government's requirements, they may identify their interest and capability to the Contract Specialist within fifteen (15) days of this publication. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are a large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a), or women owned business and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. See Notes 22 and 26. An Acquisition Ombudsman, Colonel Joseph B. Magnone, Director, Commander's Staff, has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during proposal development. You should only contact the Ombudsman with issues or problems you cannot satisfactorily resolve with the program manager and/or contracting officer. The Ombudsman role is to hear concerns, issues, and recommendations and communicate these to the appropriate government personnel. The Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality if desired.
