Description

The Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with the Integra Company of Plainsboro NJ for the purchase of an UltraSonic Aspirator, including two Neuro Handpieces and Sterilization Tray. Purchase will include all delivery, installation and training as required for the William S. Middleton, VA Hospital in Madison WI. The Government believes that Integra is the only company, which can provide this type of equipment, which contains internal tubing and the following requirements: Linear footpedal, a 24kHz handpiece and a 35kHz handpiece, utilizing piezoelectric technology. VA must be able to disassemble the handpieces for cleaning and sterilization and have the capability of utilizing the existing wall-based suction units. NAICS: 339112. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes however, responses received on or before noon on May 14, 2001 will be evaluated. Offerors responding to this notice must provide proof that their equipment will meet the requirements stated herein. Information must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer and at a minimum include equipment brochures, company literature, plus a list of at least three references from similar facilities who are currently using the suggested equipment.
