Description

This synopsis is to announce Naval Medical Center San Diego's intent to issue a solicitation on an unrestricted basis for a Non-Personal service contract for a Research Technician to perform duties as the principal medical technician, to perform a variety of diagnostic ophthalmic tests, clerical and administrative, data collection and analysis duties in support of ongoing and future refractive surgery research projects, serves as primary liaison between internal or external work units and also provides administrative duties for the Opthalmology Department, the Refractive Surgery Program Director, Research Director, Clinic Director , and Division Officer. The services and duty hours will be performed at Naval Medical Center San Diego Refractive Surgery Center Branch Medical Clinic, Building 624-2,2650, Naval Training Center, Stockton Road, San Diego, CA 92106. Request for Quote, with detailed statement of work, will be made available immediately upon request, reference # N00259-01-T-0031. The expected period of performance is from 15 May 2001 thru 14 May 2002. Award will be made based on price and meeting all the professional requirements listed in the SOW. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-25 Applicable clauses and provisions are incorporated into the solicitation by reference and in full text.
