- Description
- GSA requires Maintenance and Supporting Services for two (2) separate Government-Owned telecommunication systems in Memphis, TN, and in Mobile, AL. The requirements consist of daily on-site operations, including station Moves, Adds and Changes (MACs), by exclusively dedicated On-Site Technicians (one (1) for each city area), maintenance and support of existing large capacity Nortel Meridian Option 81C Private Branch Exchange (PBX) systems, integrated Voice Mail systems, fiber remotes, carrier remotes, battery supplies, main distribution frames (MDF), intermediate distribution frames (IDF), inside plant (fiber and copper), horizontal cable, jacks and proprietary telephone sets at each location. Offerors shall support the National Security Emergency Preparedness Plan (NSEP). Qualified On-Site Technicians must be systems certified, will be considered the Tier I technical support, shall have effective access to Tier II technical support from a remote Technical Support Center (TSC) and Tier III technical support from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) at no additional cost to the Government. A single award or multiple awards may be made. Each city will be evaluated separately for best value being the lowest reasonable price, technically acceptable, responsible source(s). Depending on the contractor selected for award, the resultant evaluation may render a single award (one contractor awarded both cities) or multiple awards (two separate contractor awardees for each city). Offerors may choose to submit proposal(s) for one (1) city or both cities. Offerors must be able to provide service to the entire city, not just to a particular building or a portion of a city. It will be the Offeror_s choice on how many cities to propose. An offer submitted on an _all or none_ or similar basis will not be considered unless the offer is low on each item to which the _all or none_ offer is made applicable. Responsible sources having the ability to furnish services for the aforementioned areas are requested to electronically access Solicitation No. 4TTE01RM01 from the www.eps.gov web site and give written notice (include telephone number and point of contact) to the acquisition office listed in this notice within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of this publication. This solicitation incorporates wage determinations that are not available electronically. Interested sources who notify the acquisition office will receive hardcopies of the wage determinations. Clarification questions relative to the solicitation are due on or before Friday, May 18th, 2001. Proposals are due not later than 4:00PM, Local Time, Monday, June 4th, 2001. Amendments to the solicitation (if any) will only be furnished to Offerors that have notified the acquisition office of the Offeror_s intent to propose!!
