- Description
- The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has a requirement for the acquisition of support services to operate and maintain a semi-automated system to monitor vehicles and cargo loads exiting from the Votkinsk Machine Building Plant in Russia under the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START). The contractor will provide logistics, maintenance, food preparation, health care, and linguist personnel to support inspection activities at a remote site located in Votkinsk, Russia. The contractor shall also have the capability to provide for logistics planning for food, spares, and miscellaneous support equipment. Performance under the contract will require a SECRET security clearance. The contractor support provided at Votkinsk is 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Period of Performance is sixty (60) months, with the potential of an additional thirty-six (36) months as award term incentive. The projected start date for the support is September 2001. This requirement was previously synposized 20 November 2000 as a Sources Sought Notice. The Request for Proposal will be released on or about 18 May 2001. The Draft Request For Proposal will be available on the DTRA web site at the following address: http://www.dtra.mil/acq/acq_procopp.html. DTRA will conduct an Industry Day 16 May 2001 at the Dulles Virginia location. A maximum of two representatives per offeror may attend. The purpose of Industry Day is to provide a technical and logistical overview of the START Portal Monitoring Program. Pre-registration is required. Attendance is non-mandatory.
