Description

The US Army Field Support Command (FSC) Contracting Team at the US Army Operations Support Command (OSC) Contracting Center, Rock Island, IL, is seeking interest and information for logistics field support services for the US Army throughout the United States and overseas locations. Interested parties must provide a complete point of contact name, mailing address, area code, phone number, fax number, email address, business size (large business, small business, small disadvantage business, woman owned small business or other), DUNS number, CAGE code and tax identification number. We solicit your comments and ideas to help make this a more effective process and produce better documents. In an effort to develop a clearer statement of work we welcome your suggestions on proposed methods for task order ordering procedures, reducing proposal costs and contract costs, providing feedback on proposed contractual arrangements, suggested evaluation criteria and methods, and identify areas for small business participation including prime and subcontracting opportunities. You are encouraged to evaluate and challenge all elements of the draft work statement. Interested firms are invited to review the draft statement of work located on the US Army Operations Support Command home page at http://www.osc.army.mil/ac/aais/ioc/solinfo/sow/sow.htm. Comments on the draft work statements are voluntary. Incorporation of comments into any future document will be at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Please provide your comments and information to the following individual by 3:00 PM CDT 31 May 2001: HQ, Operations Support Command, Attn: AMSOS-CCF, Roy Goodrich, 1 Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL 61299-6000. Comment may be emailed to Roy Goodrich at his email address: goodrichr@osc.army.mil. All interest statements shall be treated as containing proprietary information and shall be kept in confidence. The Government considers this process as "procurement sensitive" and will not divulge details of interest to non-Government entities. Only government officials crucial to the program will review submitted statements. Therefore, the Government encourages responders to be forthcoming in their submittals. Only written responses will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of responses received. The Government does not intend to pay for the information received.
