Description

All interested contractors are invited to attend an Early Industry Day Involvement/Risk Assessment Workshop to be held from 11 Jun 01 through 15 Jun 01. Location is Building 376, Room 404, Robins AFB, GA. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an opportunity for early industry involvement in the Government's proposed approach for acquiring non-personal Engineering, Logistics and Program Office Support services required to support the Special Operations Forces (SOF) System Program Office (SPO) for the next five years. The services shall encompass support tasks for the following weapon systems and subsystems: AC-130H/U Gunships, MC-130E Combat Talon I, MC-130H Combat Talon II, MC-130P Combat Shadow, C-130 Technical Order services, C-141B SOLL II, MH-53J/M Pave Low, MH/HH-60G Pave hawk, UH-1N Iroquois, HH-3F Jolly Green Giant, CV-22 Osprey, and their associated avionics and support equipment. The purpose of this Early Industry Involvement/Risk Assessment Workshop is not to obtain proposals and is solely to offer early industry involvement in a contemplated Air Force acquisition. The Government does not intend to pay for the information obtained during the workshop or for the time and expense of the industry participants involved.
