Description

Standard Industrial Code is 1761. The North American Industry Classification is 235610. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a bid, which shall be considered by the school. Remove existing roof down to existing base sheet and dispose of material in lawful manner. Install additional wood blocking as necessary to accommodate new thickness, install wood cant, install new ISO insulation at Gymnasium area and other insulations as specified in specific areas, install four plies of Type IV or Type VI Fiberglass Felt in fluid, continuous applications of approximately 25 pounds of asphalt per roof as per printed specifications and stated quality. A flood coat of approximately 60 pounds of asphalt per roof square should be applied on the top surface of the membrane. Gravel aggregate surfacing will be spread on the top flood coat of hot asphalt at approximately 400 to 500 pounds per roof square. All materials to meet stipulated codes and standards. Copies of the specifications can be obtained at the Facilities and Maintenance Office, Circle of Nations School, 832 N. 8th Street, Wahpeton, ND, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, at the time of site review. Estimated costs of Proposed Services is between $150,000.00 and $300,000.00. Period of Performance if 75 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. A bidder's bond, performance bond and payment bond will be required. Bids will be opened at the Circle of Nations Conference Center on Friday, June 1, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Contract Performance Bond in the full amount of the contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Circle of Nations School reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids. Native American preference will apply, as per EEOC Policy Statement, May 16, 1988.
