Description
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary for: (1) removal of existing ductwork from the Pangborn Roto-Blast unit (model# 1558) to the existing Farr Cartridge dust collector; (2) removal of the existing filters; (3) installing new filters in the Farr Cartridge dust collectors; (4) installing a new ductwork arrangement to replace the removed ductwork; and (5)related incidental work. Work is to be performed at the U.S. Coast Guard Industrial Support Detachment, South Weymouth, MA. The period of performance is 60 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, with actual on-site performance not to exceed 15 calendar days. There shall be a very strict and inflexible limit of 5 continuous work days for the shut-down of the Pangborn Roto-Blast unit. The estimated cost range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS code is 235990. Solicitation will be available on or about May 23, 2001. Proposals are due at 4:00 pm on June 08, 2001 This solicitation and amendments will be available via the internet at www.eps.gov.
