Description

Notice of intent to modify Contract N00244-01-C-0016 with DSPCon, Inc., Bridgewater, NJ to add buffer amplifier requirements to the Underwater Tracking System (UTS) Recorder and to add additional spare/repair parts. The buffer amplifier will allow Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) to route selected hydrophone data from the UTS recorders to four outputs. It shall have a differential input with an input impedance in excess of 10 kilo-ohm. The frequency response shall be flat between 10 Hz and 50 kHz. The spare/repair parts are required for the PMRF to adequately support the system through its first five years of operation. They are: DTF-2 Tape Drive, Qty 1; 800 Mhz Embedded PC, Qty 2; 32 Channel A/D, Qty 1; FPDP PMC Module, Qty 2; Fibre Channel PMC Module, Qty 2 32 Channel D/A Converter, Qty 2; 60 MFLOP Data Moving Processor, Qty 1; IP Clock Module, Qty 1; VME Power Supply, Qty 1; DTF-2 Tapes, Qty 40; Fibre Switch, Qty 2. To be negotiated under other than full and open competition IAW FAR 6.302-1. The equipment is required for the UTS and must be electrically and mechanically compatible with installed equipment. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Note 22 applies.
