Description

The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) intends to make an award for the subject items on a sole source basis to Belleville Shoe Mfg. Co., 100 Premier Drive, Belleville, IL, 62221, for the production of a combined minimum quantity of 12,000 pairs and a combined maximum quantity of 40,000 pairs. This work will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1); only one responsible source, namely Belleville Shoe, and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements based upon extensive testing done by the Air Force. These supplies are considered to be Life Support Items and only the Belleville models of the Boots, Flyers, Lightweight (Summer, Winter, and Desert) have been certified as "Safe-to-Fly."
