Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is DAAE07-01-T-0006. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46, dated 17 Mar 97. The associated North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code is 336330. The U.S. Army TACOM requirement is to purchase a quantity of 1,750 Shock Mitigators per Drawing #13230E4700, see website: http://contracting.tacom.army.mil/installsupport/installationsupport.htm No options will be included. FOB Destination will apply (freight included). Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors are advised to include a complete copy of the Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. This acquisition is rated D04.
