Description

The Combating Terrorism Technology Support Office (CTTSO) Technical Support Working Group (TSWG) is soliciting concepts for innovative research and development projects. This solicitation is separate and distinct from others issued by this office. Solutions are needed to address the need of key domestic and overseas U.S. facilities requiring the capability to monitor ambient indoor and outdoor air as well as drinking water sources and recreational waters, to protect against the possibility of terrorist activity involving malicious contamination aimed at adversely affecting the health of U.S. personnel or causing serious damage to U.S. assets. The Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) package itself will be available only from the following website: http://www.bids.tswg.gov. The BAA process constitutes a solicitation of concepts from those Offerors capable of satisfying the Government's needs. The Government encourages non-profit organizations, educational institutions, small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, government laboratories, HBCU/MI's, foreign contractors, as well as large businesses, to submit research concepts for consideration. The BAA selection process will be conducted in two phases. The package describes the full process for the concept submission and evaluation. Potential Offerors are encouraged to download the BAA package from the website as of the published date of this synopsis.
