Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, GA. Has a requirement for services for hazardous chemical waste disposal and minimization. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials and supervision necessary to train approximately 300 hazardous waste generators and remove hazardous chemical waste from approximately 300 laboratories and work centers within three CDC sites in Atlanta. The Government is also seeking innovativeness to minimize chemical usage, hazardous waste, and other pollution prevention initiatives. Contractor will perform comprehensive evaluation of current hazardous material usage and develop detailed plan to implement identified opportunities. The Government may exercise the option to direct the contractor to implement chemical minimization plan. The resultant contract will be performance based. The Government is seeking proposals in accordance with the requirements as listed in the solicitation, however the Government welcomes proposals based on Standard Commercial Industry Practices for hazardous waste disposal and minization. Request for the solicitation must cite the RFP Number 2001-N-00082. No telephone requests. Only written requests directly from the requestor will be accepted.
