Description

PROVIDE REALTY SUPPORT SERVICES to Department of Defense (DOD) active duty, reserve and retired military service members, and DOD civilian employees and their family members. Services are to be provided on a customer demand basis and shall include all services commonly authorized to be performed by the Kansas Board of Realtors under a broker's license. Services shall include access and use of Multiple Listing System (MLS), and other automated rental referral listing services for the Fort Riley Housing Market Area (FRHMA), apartment locator services, guidance and counseling on home buying, rental services, and provision of local area maps and other pertinent information to include the national network affiliation for referrals out of the FRHMA. Services also include mediating landlord tenant disputes unless there is a conflict of interest; performing condition inspections of rental properties prior to listing; accompanying customers on joint inspections of rental properties as needed; review rental documents and leases for incorporation of appropriate military clauses; and using the Housing Operations Management System (HOMES) to process applications and provide listings for authorized users. Basic guidance for this scope of work can be found in Army Regulation 210-50, Fort Riley Regulation 210-50, and the Community Home Finding Relocation, and Referral Services (CHRRS) Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this project is 6531. The North American Industry Classification System code for this project is 531210. The small business size is $1.5M. Performance period for the base year is 1 September 2001 to 30 August 2002, with three option years. Method of acquisition is unrestricted. The Government estimates a base year contract cost of approximately $30,000.00 to $40,000.00 with the option years decreasing in cost to the Government.
