Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England Disrict has a requirement to obtain appraisals on properties located in Pittsfield, MA in the vicinity of Lyman Street and Elm Street. Some of the properties are located along the Housatonic River and some inland. Approximately 20 to 25 ownerships are involved thus requiring approximately 20 to 25 individual complete self-contained appraisal reports. The appraisals will estimate the fee value, permanent easement value, or temporary easement value of a property. Reports are to be completed within two (2) months from the date of award. The appraiser must have a license from the Comonwealth of Massachusetts as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. The appraisals will adhere to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and must be completed in conformance with the Uniform Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions (Yellow Book). Estimated cost of the work is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Scope of Work will be available at no cost on or about 05/24/01. Requests for Solicitations may be faxed to 978-318-8207.
