Description

Power Technologies for Air, Space and Weapons (PRDA 00-03-PRK) Industry Day. As previously announced, an Industry Day will be held on 17 May 01 to discuss the technical topics to be solicited under the upcoming PRDA amendment. The following topic areas will be discussed during the conference: 1) High Heat Flux Cooling for Directed Energy Applications; 2) High Power Low Duty Cycle Generator Technology; 3) High Temperature Magnets for Power Conversion; 4) Pulse Power Capacitors; 5) Rugged, Survivable SiC Packaging and Contact Metallization; 6) Pulse Power Switches; and 7) Electromagnetic Fields and Discharges on Advanced Power Systems. The conference will commence at 12:00 p.m. EDT with a 20 minute overview and then topic areas running at 40 minute increments through the afternoon. A full agenda will be posted on Preaward Information eXchange System (PIXS) at hhtp://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil. Once again, the conference will be held in Area B, Building 620 Main Auditorium, Wright-Patterson AFB OH 45433.
