Description

Provide all necessary services and materials to Repair Dorm 776_Phase I and option to Repair Dorm 776_Phase II to provide adequate and quality housing for enlisted student personnel. Work includes, but is not limited to, replacing light fixtures, switches, receptacles, windows, blinds, dorm room HVAC units, hot/cold water plumbing, ceiling tile, main entrance/vestibule store front glass, exit doors, stairwell tread floor covering, shower floor tile, signage, mailboxes, casework, air handlers, chillers and boilers, repairing laundry room ventilation, toilets, sinks and shower hardware, painting or installing wall covering on building interior, upgrading facility to meet fire and life safety codes by installing heat detectors, fire-rated doors and fire barriers. Asbestos encountered will be removed under this project. All work shall be done with the building occupied and the work area unoccupied. All work will provide a complete and usable facility in accordance with the Statement of Work for Project VNVP 971010. This solicitation is being offered for full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 233220 with a size standard of $27.5M. Project magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Performance period is 240 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date for Phase I and 180 calendar days for Phase II, if the option is exercised. Solicitation will be available on or about 22 May 2001 with proposals due on or about 21 June 2001.
