Description

Background "This is a solicitation for the design and construction to repair the sewer lines and manholes for the WasteWater Collection System at Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee. This procurement includes the basic with an option. The Basic includes the sewer lines and manholes at Sub-Basin 5 and 6. Sub-Basin 5 includes approximately 14,000 feet of 8 -15 inch pipe buried 0-10 feet. Sub-Basin 6 includes approximately 10,000 feet of 6-8 inch pipe buried 0-8 feet. Option III -repairs sewer lines and manholes at Sub- Basins -9,10, and 13. Sub-Basin 9 includes approximately 1,892 feet of 6-10 inch pipe buried 4-6 feet. Sub-Basin 10 includes approximately 2,379 feet of 6-8 inch pipe buried 6- 8 feet. Sub-Basin 13 includes approximately 605 feet of 6 inch pipe buried 6 feet. The various materials include PVC, reinforced concrete, clay, and cast iron. The Period of Performance for the Base proposal will be 180 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. The order of magnitude for the Base proposal and Option III is between $250,000 -- $500,000. The following RFP will be available at http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil approximately 23 May 2001. "
