Description

The U. S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center (USCG ELC) has a requirement for the purchase of brand name Crosby jaw and jaw turnbuckles with locknuts, Crosby p/n HG-228, stock no. 1032974, wll 21,400 lbs., 276 each; p/n HG-228, stock no. 1033036, wll 28,000 lbs., 24 each; NSN 40-30-00-369-3993, Crosby Forge screw pin shackles, Crosby p/n G-209, stock no. 1018632, 48 each; NSN 4030-00-373-1327, stock no. 1018614, 192 each; wire rope sling assemblies, various diameters and lengths, 300 each. It is possible that the USCG ELC will conduct a reverse auction. Delivery shall be made FOB Destination to the USCG ELC, Curtis Bay, Baltimore, MD. Delivery shall be made by May 31, 2001. This Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be issued via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at www.eps.gov. Hard copies of the Request for Proposal will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the EPS website at www.eps.gov for RFP release and all subsequent amendments. The date and time for receipt of proposals shall be specified in the Request for Proposal. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 332722, and the size standard is 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. The reverse auction, if it is conducted, will take place approximately during mid-May 2001.
