Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to modify an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N68335-98-G-0276 which allows two classes of orders to be placed against it, to procure Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Repair of Repairables (ROR) services and supplies. This modification will extend the BOA to 18 September 2001. These services and supplies are for the AN/APM-446, AN/APG-65 and AN/USM-604 Test Program Sets and their ancillary support equipment. One class of orders shall be placed on behalf of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, and the second class of orders shall be placed on behalf of the Naval Aviation Depot, Cherry Point, North Carolina. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Systems and Electronic Inc., 201 Evans Lane, St. Louis MO 63121-1126. Under the Authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 ( c ) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only supplier of the repair services because they are the developer and sole manufacturer of the AN/APM-446, AN/APG-65 and AN/USM-604 Test Program Sets, and is the only known firm possessing the knowledge, experience and technical expertise necessary to fulfill the Navy's requirements. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
