Description
THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR Custom Princeton Instruments PI-MAX 1024SB Digital ICCD Camera System SPR No. 1352E. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to revise the specifications as follows: MSFC plans to purchase a digital ICCD (Intensified Charge Coupled Device) camera system as described in the specification listed below. This camera shall be used in a MSFC ultraviolet Raman optical diagnostic system for evaluating performance of rocket engines. The subject camera, controller and PCI interface card must be fully compatible with LabVIEW version 6 for Windows. 1. The contractor shall provide the purchasing camera here on, including the below hardware specifications: 2. Thermoelectrically cooled camera head, air or water-cooling is acceptable 3. Scientific grade, front-illuminated CCD 4. Fiber-optic bonded 25-mm image intensifier 5. Quantum efficiency no less than 20% from 250-300 nm 6. Minimum of 21.2 x 14.1 mm useful active area 7. Actual pixels not to be smaller than 13 x 13 micrometers 8. Effective pixel size of 37 micrometers or smaller 9. <30 ns gating capable 10. TTL gating capability 11. MCP bracket pulsing or equivalent UV gating 12. Sealed operation, no N2 purge required 13. Camera head must be able to extend a minimum of 40 feet from the computer interface. If a controller box is required, there is an additional requirement that the camera head must be able to extend 15' feet from the controller box. 14. Dual 16 bit 100 KHz (16 bit 62 KHz also acceptable), 16 bit 1 MHz A/D converter 15. Programming Timing Generator with trigger delay capability. A minimum delay of 50 ns, 1 ns increments, with the ability to delay up to 20 ms from the incoming TTL trigger is required. 15. PC/PCI board with 25' or longer cable, 15' or longer head cable if external control box is used; 40' or longer cable if no external control box is required. 17. Acton Spectrometer 300i/500i mount adapter kit 18. Software-controlled temperature settings and intensifier gain 19. Vendor's latest Windows-based imaging and spectroscopic software 20. Latest version of ICCD/Controller LabVIEW drivers, providing full functionality of vendor-written software, and fully compatible with LabVIEW version 6 for Windows 21. One-year warranty covering all hardware and labor. The contractor shall report to MSFC at the time of completing the design of the ICCD system. The contractor shall report to MSFC at the time of completing the purchase of all hardware prior to performing an assembly of the camera system. The contractor shall deliver the purchasing camera and all associated hardware peripherals and software within 120 days from the date of receiving the purchase order. The contractor shall propose payments in accordance with their standard commercial practice. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on May 4, 2001.
