Description

The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) will be issuing a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) in approximately 14 days from the issuance of this notice. This BAA will be seeking interested parties to participate in the Apparel Research Network ARN II. Interested parties will be required to submit a proposal in response to the technical information outlined in the BAA. The Apparel Research Network is part of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Manufacturing Technology (MANTECH) Program. It is estimated to be a $3.0M a year joint R& D effort between Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and DSCP focused on improving DLA's ability to build on efforts in its end-to-end recruit clothing supply chain and identify and expand advanced capabilities for all DLA/DSCP managed military clothing items. DSCP is planning to host a pre-proposal conference in June 2001 timeframe. The conference will provide details of this program, its mission and objectives, and how interested parties can become involved as an active participant on the Apparel Research Network. The date, time and location of the conference will be provided in the BAA.
