Description

Invertebrate Study, Fort Sill OK The following changes are added to the solicitation: (response date is 18May01) DELIVERABLES: 1. Furnish "curriculum vitae", including amount of experience in this kind of survey. 2. Furnish a detailed technical proposal inclunding: (a) start date of sampling and when surveys will take place; (b) how sampling will be accomplished (types of traps, or collection techniques, and number of locations); (c) how the collections will be identified, i.e., what experts will be used, will they be able to identify to genera and species? 3. Furnish proof of having taken ATV Safety Training Course. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION CONCERNING THE PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT: 1. Storage facilities for required equipment will be provided by Fort Sill. 2. Approximately 55,000 acres will be surveyed. Some of this acreage is in dud areas which will require plots to be weighted toward the edges of the dud areas. Work will not be done in the dud areas. 3. Fort Sill will provide a Range Safety Course, describing dud areas and live fire areas, at no cost to the contractor. 4. Maps will be provided showing dud areas and live fire ranges. 5. There is no designated depository for voucher specimens. 6. Vaccination for chemical/biological agents is not applicable at this time. 7. UXO's can be anywhere, but work will not be done in known dud areas. 8. Fort Sill will provide radios as needed. 9. Small 4 wheelers will be provided for off road use. Verfication of ATV Safety Course is required to use these. 10. The final report should use arcview shape files with proper documentation, including metada.
