Description

Elevator Maintenance Service at the U.S. Department of Transportation, Volpe National Transportation Systems Center, 55 Broadway, Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA 02142. Performance period is for a five (5) year base period, with an estimated start date of August 1, 2001. This procurement is open to both large and small business concerns, and is being procured as a commercial item. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 333921, the Size Standard is 500 employees. This will be a Performance Based Contract. The projected date of the RFP is on or about June 15, 2001. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available on the Internet; these docume nts will be available on a WWW server, which may be accessed using Web browsers.
