Description

The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, Tucson, Arizona intends to negotiate a commercial item, sole source contract with the Northern Arizona Tumor Institute for radiation therapy, consultation, and follow-up examinations. Services provided for authorized patients of the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System located in Prescott, Arizona. The contract is for a base period and two one-year renewable options. The proposed contract action is for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (2). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement in writing to the fax number or address shown elsewhere in this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fourteen days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
