Description

USDA, ARS, AFM, PPD, Contracts Branch intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for janitorial services at the Henry A. Wallace Beltsville Agricultural Research Center, as an 8(a) set-aside. The RFP is anticipated to be performance based, and commercial item in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 37.6. The government contemplates award of a firm-fixed price contract. The base period of performance will be September 18, 2001, through March 17, 2001, with option for four (4) additional 12-month periods. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561720. For the purpose of this procurement, any concern submitting a proposal should not exceed any more than $12 Million average annual receipts for an offeror's preceding 3 Fiscal Years. Offerors will be required to submit a business and price proposal for evaluation by the Government. A contract with fixed prices will be awarded to the responsible offeror(s) who submits the proposal considered most advantageous to the Government considering price and technical evaluation factors. All responsible, qualified 8(a) business concerns may submit an offer which will be considered by the Agency.
