Description

The Winema National Forest is soliciting bids for the (a) Forest Service Road (2308) Culvert Replacement, and (b) Road 7003-350 Culvert Removal. Work includes minor clearing, removal and disposal of two culverts, excavation and embankment, installation of one Government-furnished steel pipe arch, placement of geotextile fabric, crushed aggregate surfacing and riprap. Government-furnished material is a 2200mm X 1620mm X 11meter steel pipe arch. The following materials are Contractor-furnished: 315 cubic meters embankment, 70 square meters geotextile, 90 cubic meters crushed aggregate, and 85 cubic meters riprap. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Bonds will be required in the following amounts: No Bid Bond is required. However the awarded contractor will be required to supply a 50 percent payment security bond. Estimated issue date is June 1, 2001 and estimated open date is July 2, 2001.
