Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6; as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government intends to award an indefinite-delivery type contract for one base year and four one-year options for performance of Cultural Resources Services within the Civil and Military Boundaries of the Mobile District, US Army Corps of Engineers. Services include but are not limited to: archeological investigations, historic architectural services, architectural history, curation services, NAGPRA summary and inventory services, cultural resources GIS and GPS services, and historical studies in support of cultural resources investigations. Technical/Management source selection criteria will be listed as part of the solicitation package on the web page identified in this announcement. Detailed technical proposals will be required. Commercial item provisions 52.212-1/2/3/4 and 5 apply. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS is 541990, the size standard for which is a concern, including its affiliates, having an annual gross revenue of $5.0 million or less for the last three years. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government's best interest. Therefore, Offerors, (to in include subcontractors and Dodge/Plan Rooms) are required to self-register their firm or office on the Internet and download the solicitation (available at the following site on/about 23 May 2001): http://www.sam.usace.army.mil/sam/ct. Offers will be due on/about 28 June 2001. NO TELEPHONE, FAXED OR MAILED requests for solicitation will be accepted. Those registering are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the mailing list. Registration must include the firm's physical address, telephone, a valid fax number, and a point of contact. All notifications of changes to this solicitation shall be made through the Internet. Therefore, offerors who have registered are required to view the Internet daily for any posted changes to the solicitation.
