Description

The contractor shall provide all maintenance management, services, tools, supplies, and equipment to perform inspections, maintenance and repair of approximately 273 overhead doors at Andrews AFB (269), Brandywine (2), and Davidsonville(2)Maryland. This acquisition is 100% Set Aside for Small Businesses; NAICS Code 811310 (include size or dollar amount). The period of performance will include a one-year basic performance period, with four annual options. The Government reserves the right to exercise the options. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be identified in the solicitation package. The solicitation, notice and all amendments, will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting Systems (EPS) site at www.eps.gov <http://www.eps.gov/>. This office anticipates posting the solicitation on or about 23 May 2001. (Note: paper copies will not be issued.) When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments pertaining to this solicitation. All prospective offeror_s interested in submitting a proposal must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE CODE) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr2000.com <http://www.ccr2000.com/>. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract; it does not restrict the Government_s ultimate approach; nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation cost. This contract will be contingent on the availability of funds IAW FAR part 52.232-18, Availablity of funds.
