Description

FLASH NOTICE Solicitation for an OMB Circular No. A-76 commercial activities study, Material Management Support Services will be available on or around 30 May 2001. Location: Primarily at the Marine Corps Air Station, Naval Aviation Depot (NADEP, Cherry Point, North Carolina). ISO certification required. Procurement will be full and open competition, and use Best Value Method of evaluation. A cost comparison will be conducted, under OMB Circular No. A-76 to determine the most cost effective mode of operation. The Government is developing an In House Cost Estimate, and a contract may or may not be awarded as a result of this study/comparison. If a contractor is selected as the most cost effective service provider, an award will be made in accordance with OMB Circular No. A-76 and all other applicable Government and Navy acquisition regulations. The service provider shall perform the following two major functions in support of the various production shops: Program Management and Material Management. Some travel may be required. Five year performance period. A site visit is anticipated.
