Description

Location of Work: Fort Bragg Military Reservation, Nijmegen Drop Zone, Hoke County, Fayetteville, North Carolina. Major items of work are 213 acres of permanent seeding and mulching; 13,450 linear feet of diversions; 1,300 linear feet of lateral drain lines, 2,860 linear feet of 6 inch main drain lines; 128 tons rock riprap -- Class B; 1,363 tons aggregate base course; 40 acres grading and shaping; 1,667 square yards Coir erosion blanket; and 960 linear feet Coir roll. The estimated price range for this work is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The performance time is 187 calendar days from receipt of the notice to proceed. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be available on Wednesday, May 23, 2001. There will be two (2) site showings. Information on the site showings will be in the solicitation package. Interested parties may call 919-873-2162 or 2172 to obtain a copy of the solicitation. There will be no charge for the package.
