Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Grand Coulee Power Office, Grand Coulee, Washington, located in Grant County, Washington, approximately 90 miles west of Spokane, Washington, has a requirement to replace the stator core and armature winding for one pump motor. The pump motor is rated 51,500 KVA at 13.6 kV and will have been disassembled by others ready for on-site work under this contract to begin on or about April 1, 2002. This contract will include removing the existing armature winding and stator core, and furnishing, installing and testing a new armature winding and a new stator core. The Government will reassemble the motor upon completion of this contract. Award will be based on the best value to the Government and evaluation criteria will include technical capability to perform or provide the major items of work, past performance, experience, installation and removal plan, price and price-related factors, and small disadvantaged business participation. The criteria will be further defined in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on-line at www.pn.usbr.gov/contracts/supply on or about June 4, 2001.
