Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, Grand Coulee Power Office, Grand Coulee, Washington, located in Grant County, Washington, approximately 90 miles west of Spokane, Washington, has a requirement to replace the stator core and armature winding for one pump motor. The pump motor is rated 51,500 KVA at 13.6 kV and will have been disassembled by others ready for on-site work under this contract to begin on or about April 1, 2002. This contract will include removing the existing armature winding and stator core, and furnishing, installing and testing a new armature winding and a new stator core. The Government will reassemble the motor upon completion of this contract. Award will be based on the best value to the Government and evaluation criteria will include technical capability to perform or provide the major items of work, past performance, experience, installation and removal plan, price and price-related factors, and small disadvantaged business participation. The criteria will be further defined in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on-line at www.pn.usbr.gov/contracts/supply on or about June 4, 2001. Interested parties must download and/or print the solicitation documents from the website. The solicitation will be posted in the Adobe Acrobat 4.0 format. Offerors are strongly encouraged to register via our website to be included on the planholder list. If issued on CD-ROM or paper, one copy will be mailed free of charge to each party on the planholder list. Additional copies will be $25 each. This requirement is not set-aside for small business, this acquisition will be a full and open competition. The NAICS code is 335312 and the size standard is 1000 employees. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this agency. The due date for offers referenced in this synopsis is subject to change. See Numbered Notes 12 and 26.
