NASA Ames Research Center is in the process of recompeting an existing contract currently being performed by DICHROMA, Inc. (Contract No. NAS2-97065). At this time, NASA Ames Research Center is soliciting tailored capability statements from qualified 8(a) Small Business firms under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541219 with a size standard of $6.0. (The former Standard Industrial Classification code for this effort was 8721). Based on the responses received from this SOURCES SOUGHT announcement, the proposed acquisition may be solicited as a 100%, 8(a) Small Business Set-Aside. THIS IS NOT AN RFP AND DOES NOT COMMIT NASA AMES RESEARCH CENTER TO AWARD A CONTRACT NOW OR IN THE FUTURE. NO RFP PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. All 8(a) Small Business contractors responding to this Sources Sought Announcement must have the capabilities to provide the following services: Budget Support: budget maintenance and operations services, budget execution Accounting Support: cost, travel, and commercial payment accounting Financial System Support: analysis and implementation of agencywide Integrated Financial Management Program (IFMP) system The place of performance will be NASA Ames Research Center , Moffett Field, CA 94035-1000. 8(a) concerns that respond to this notice must furnish concise responses directed specifically to the requirements mentioned above. Sources possessing experience and demonstrated capability to accomplish the above are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the required services. Information furnished should include background information, resumes, a description of general and specific facilities, an outline of previous similar projects and other available literature for NASA Ames Research Center to perform a proper evaluation of your capability statement. See CBD Numbered Note 25. An original and one copy of your capability statement specific to this announcement must be submitted by the closing date identified above.
