Description

The work on this project consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment required to paint the exterior of Longfellow National Historic Site, Main House and Carriage House and to paint the exterior of John F. Kennedy Birthplace National Historic Site. The project includes surface preparation and painting of clapboard, shingles/siding, trim, gutters and down spouts, window trim and glazing, skylight (J.F.K. Birthplace), fencing, shutters (20 sets at J.F.K. Birthplace) and cupola (Carriage House at Longfellow NHS). There will be an Option, involving Masonry work replacing approximately 50 LF of leaded butt joints on granite caps and repointing of approximately 200 LF of bed joints on walls at Longfellow NHS. This solicitation is subject to Public Law 100-656, Small Busines Competitive Demonstration Program, and is open to all concerns regardless of size standard. The NIAC Code for this project is 235210 and 235410. The estimated price range for this project is under $100,000. Performance Time for this project is 90 calendar days.
