Description

NASA/ARC plans to issue a Request for Offers (RFO) to develop and provide complete equipment replacement drawings for the replacement of the Air conditioner/ Air handler (60 tons) in the Penthouse of N202A. The Offeror shall use the Ames Standard ConstructionSpecifications, dated September 20, 1996. The order of the magnitude for the procurement is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00, and the effort shall be completed within 90 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 23511 and 7.0M, respectively. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about May 25,2001 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about June 25,2001. The firm date for receipt of bids or offers will be stated in the RFO. All QUALIFIED responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office 97 format and will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
