- This requirement is a 100% set-aside for small business. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24. Solicitation provision at FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, applies. Award will be based on best value to the Government, taking into consideration delivery, price and price related factors. All specs will be reviewed by the 314th Civil Engineering Squadron to ensure they meet the qualifications needed. Offerors are encouraged to include information regarding these evaluation factors in their quotes. All line items will be awarded on a single purchase order. Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://ccr2001.com) prior to receiving award. Contractor must also fill out Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (FEB 2001). DESCRIPTION: CLIN 0001: STINAR SLC-741 (OR EQUAL) LAVATORY SERVICE CART WITH THE FOLLOWING FEATURES: 150 gallon (570L) waste tank, 100 gallon (380L) water tank, LENGTH: towbar down 163 inches (4140mm), WIDTH -- 43-3/4 inches (1238MM, HEIGHT: 40 inches (1016MM), wheelbase, 46 inches (1169mm), REAR GRIP STRUT PLATFORM DEPTH, 12 inches (305MM), steel frame construction, front axle with fifth wheel steering, stainless steel tanks, pump compartment constructed with Galvaneal, water/rinse tank level gauge, flush water/rinse flow meter, internal baffle located in waste tank, waster tank sight window, 12 feet (3658mm) of one-inch (25.4mm) flush water/rinse hose with one-inch coupling, 8 feet (2438mm) of 4-inch (102mm) opaque waste hose, open dump with 4-inch (102mm) ball valve, pump system powered by a battery operated, electric motor, includes a 12-volt deep cycle batery and 110V, 60Hz battery charge, towbar actuated front brake, red and amber adhesive reflective decals, etched aluminum descriptive placards,protected by epoxy based primer and polyurethane paint, 3-inch "Lavatory Service" decals located on each side of the tanks, meets USPH STANDARDS. Approval by 314th CES. CLIN 0002: AUXILLARY HAND PUMP -- Stinar part number L/W1000 or equal. CLIN 0003: 12 FOOT HOSE REEL with 1-inch coupling, Stinar P/N W/L1001 or equal. CLIN 0004: WINTERIZATION 110 VAC, Stinar P/N WL1002 or equal. CLIN 005: FOAM FILLED TIRES, Stinar part (or equal) W/L1004. CLIN 0006. CRATING REQUIRED TO BE CRATED AS THE BATTERY. Material is considered a hazardous material. The cratingsystem quoted in the option section provides a slat crate with a poly shroud. The shroud ispermeated with a VCI rust inhibitor. Stinar P/N W/L1005 or equal.
