Background "17. Pre-solicitation Notice: Project Number 0000041. Period of performance is 130 days. SIC 1795, SIZE STANDARD $7.0 M. Demolition of Facility 20127, Wright-Patterson AFB, in accordance with Project No. 000041. Project scope consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and perform all operations necessary to demolish a one-story masonry structure, approximately 23,571 SF, management of asbestos and lead containing items, removal/relocation and capping existing utilities and restoration of the site in accordance with project number 000041 plans and specifications. A Request for Proposal including Performance/Price tradeoff criteria is anticipated to be used. NOTE: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. Estimated cost of proposed acquisition is between $100,000.00 and $500,000.00. ""Mr. Stephen J. Plaisted has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or potential offerors, during the proposed development. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendation to the appropriate government personnel. Existence of an Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer. There are approximately 20 pages of the solicitation, 245 pages of the specifications and 9 sheets of the drawing. You are not required to register, however when you do you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addendums that may be issued to the solicitation.
