- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Golder Associates, Inc., 18300 N.E. Union Hill Road, Suite 200, Redmond, WA 98052, to acquire a three-year maintenance and repair service agreement for two (2) FracMan/PC, includes FracWorks and FracSys), for both Windows (3.1, NT, 95, 98, or Me) and DOS, with 20 hours technical support each; two (2) FracMan/Fractal, includes Windows (3.1, NT, 95, 98, 2000, or Me), with 20 hours technical support each; one (1) MAFIC/Workstation (1.x), with Unix, Linux, or Windows NT/2000/95/98, with 40 hours technical support, and one (1) PAWorks/Workstation, including Unix, Linux, or Windows N^T/2000/95/98 with 20 hours technical support. Note: The input data must meet the FracMan Suite input requirements through an Interactive Set Identification System (ISIS). The Suite requires pre-processed data generated by the FracMan modules to be used in both the Mafic and PAWorks modules (post-processor). The product must provide discrete fracture network analysis through discontinuous media, such as rock joints. The proposed action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the supplies that will satisfy the agency requirements. Any firm that believes it possesses the above technical expertise is encouraged to give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished, in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements and possession of the requisite technical expertise. All responses received within ten days of the date of the publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice, is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should include the firm's business size (e.g., small business, other than small business), in accordance with the size standard: $18 million for Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 7371.
