Description

Log collection services on the Tiller Ranger District: collection, loading, weighing, transport and decking of an estimated 310 logs from blowdown trees to existing roadways and from existing log decks; work includes bucking and yarding logs; logs with rootwads and rootwad collection transport is required. This is a Request for Proposals requiring completion of a Questionnaire; detailed technical proposals are not required; award evaluation criteria include technical capability specific to equipment capability for yarding and hauling logs, weighing system capability and past performance history in addition to price; award may be made without discussions. This is an idefinite quantity type contract; the amount of work shown is estimated only. See Numbered Note 1.
