Description

The Kootenai National Forest, Troy Ranger District is solicting quotes for installation of a new gravity sewer from 5 existing structures to a new municipal lift station located on the ranger station compound. Some existing septic tanks and lift station will be cleaned out and abandoned in place. Two septic tanks and drainfields are to be left in place and connected with diverter valves from the newly installed lines to allow emergency outage use. New lines will be 4" PVC SDR service connections to a 6" PVC SDR 35 gravity mains connecting to the municipal lift station. Any disturbed sitework such as sidewalks, paved parking areas, and lawns will be repaired under this contract after demolition and construction of the sewer system. Estimated start work date is July 9, 2001 with a mandatory completion date of August 31, 2001. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Not set aside for small business.
