Description

The work consists of the demolition and removal of two existing wood frame outhouses with concrete vaults and new construction of two outhouses consisting of cast-in-place concrete, heavy timber, stone masonry, rough carpentry, architectural woodwork, cemenitious roofing shakes, wood doors and frames, hardware, glazing, painting, concrete paving, and aggregate trail. This project is located on the state highway system approximately 10 miles north of Mendenhall Valley and approximately 2 miles north of Juneau terminal of the Alaska Marine Highway. Contract time is 150 calendar days. Estimated start work date is July 15, 2001. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation will be posted to our web site (URL address shown below)for downloading by C.O.B. (local time)on June 5, 2001.
