Description

This is a modification to the combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items to remove and dispose of lead-based paint and to apply/maintain protective coatings on exteriors of seventy-eight (78) housing units. This modification changes various parts of pages one to five of the addendum by extending the period of performance to 120 calendar days, clarifying which areas are to be painted, providing the estimated square footage of areas to be painted and desired paint coverage, providing the estimated total area of lead-based paint to be removed, defining notification issues, and changing the type of paint to be used. In addition this change incorporates Wage Rate Determination No: 94-2511 Rev (17), which will be included upon award. This modification also changes the due date of Proposals to be due no later than 23 May 01 at 4:00 pm (MST), at 49th CONTRACTING SQUADRON, P.O. DRAWER S, HOLLOMAN AFB, NM 88330-1601 or by fax to (505) 572-2107.
