Description

This is a sole-source requirement to Microway Inc, Research Park, P. O. Box 79, Kingston, MA 02364 to provide an upgraded Alpha System to the Alpha system manufactured by Microway Inc. Microway Inc is the original manufacturer of the Alpha System. The configuration of this system shall be compatible to the original Alpha System and with other systems already installed onboard Navy ships. A quantity of 20 of the upgraded Alpha Systems are required. Delivery of the first upgraded unit shall be in July 2001 to ensure adequate integration and testing. Delivery of the other units shall be made no later than May 2002. A Firm Fixed Price type contract is anticipated. The NAICS Code is 334419 with 500 employees size standard. Note 22 Applies -- The Government will be negotiating Sole Source with Microway Inc, Research Park, P. O. Box 79, Kingston, MA 02364. This is not a Request for Proposals.
