Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE BUILDING 17, 17A, 17B, 18 & 21 RENOVATION AT THE NATIONAL NAVAL MEDICAL CENTER (NNMC), BETHESDA, MD. The National Institutes of Health will be seeking a private party who will act as a Development Manager to provide all services for the proposed renovation of the Building 17, 17A, 17B, 18 &21 and associated work for the NIH at the NNMC Bethesda, MD. The services will include, but not be limited to, planning, programming, special studies including environmental services, design, construction, community relations and overall coordination of all activities associated with the proposed project. The entire renovation will be approximately 128,000 gross square feet (GSF). This project will provide a collaborative environment for modern musculoskeletal medicine research and development, with bio-medical research labs, small animal facility, NMR facility, office, conference facilities, interaction areas and public space. The DM and an A/E firm will be selected as a team initially. The D/M will contract complete A-E services under the Developer's contract. NIH will be publishing an announcement of its solicitation soon in the Commerce Business Daily.**
