Background "Contractor Engineering and Technical Services (CETS) to=20 provide on-site proficiency training, technical guidance=20 and=20 advice in the evaluation of unusual field problems and to=20 render emergency technical advice related specifically to=20 the F-117A Mission Data Planning Systems, Low Observables=20 Systems, and Low Observable Instrumentation Systems at=20 Holloman AFB, NM. Liaison between the CETS representative=20 and the manufacturer is required. This effort requires=20 four=20 representatives from 01 Oct 01 through 30 Sep 02 (FY02)=20 and=20 from 01 Oct 02 through 30 Sep 03 (FY03). PR line item=20 numbers 1A-1A, 1A-2A, 1A-3A, and 1A-4A. The approximate=20 issue date will be 29 May 2001 to Lockheed Martin,=20 Palmdale,=20 CA. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed=20 requests=20 received directly from the requester are acceptable. All=20 responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal=20 or=20 quotation which shall be considered. Authority: 10=20 U.S.C.=20 2304=A9(4). Justification: Supplies (or services) required=20 are available from only one or a limited number of=20 responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or=20 services will satisfy agency requirements. =20 The proposed contract action is for supplies or services=20 for=20 which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with=20 only one or a limited number of sources under authority of=20 FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest=20 and capability to respond to the requirement or submit=20 proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for=20 competitive proposals. However, all proposals received=20 within 45 days after date of publication of this synopsis=20 will be considered by the Government. A determination by=20 the Government not to compete this proposed contract based=20 upon responses to this notice is solely within the=20 discretion of the Government. Information received will=20 normally be considered solely for the purpose of=20 determining=20 whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
