Description

This is a combined Solicitation / Synopsis for the Kansas Army National Guard Leadership Development Center (LDC) at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas requires bus transportation for various periods starting on or around 15 July 2001 and ending on or around 16 August 2001 for the BASE YEAR to transport approximately 1000 troops per day from the LDC training site to hotel rooms at Kansas City, MO. and from the Hotels in Kansas City, MO. back to the LDC (approximately 20 miles each trip). The bus company must have a minimum of fifteen (15) each forty-five (45) passenger busses available at one time. Busses may be of school bus type. The bus service will be required 24 hours per day. A 24 hour off shift point of contact (P.O.C) is required to help with any unforeseen problems. During shift changes, the bus service must provide a bus master to be at the LDC training site for command and control of the bus fleet. Busses will run regular bus routes in accordance with a published schedule. The contract will cover the above periods with a One (1) year BASE period and Four (4) One (1) year Options to extend the terms of the contract for a period Five (5) years . This is 100% set-aside for small business. SIC code 7299 NAICS Code 485510, Size standard is $5. Million. Proposal must be based on Service Contract Wage Rate as posted by Department Of Labor (DOL). DOL posting Wage Determination No. 1994-2308. Proposal must include the following to be considered: 1. Hourly Bus rate for each Year, 2. Drivers Safety Program including Drug and Alcohol Prevention, 3. Insurance Paperwork, 4. Statement of access or prove of ownership of fifteen (15) forty-five (45) passenger busses 5. The provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offerors Representation and Certifications (Commercial Items) (Oct 1995) applies to this acquisition. A completely filled out and signed copy of this provision shall be submitted with the proposal.
