Description

This is a solicitation for minor construction prepared in accordance with format in FAR Subpart 15.204, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. F31601-01-R-0010 Is a request for proposal. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is a 100% set -aside for small business and the applicable North American Classification System code is 235990. The requirement is to repair base theater. Work consist of remove and install carpet, acoustical ceiling, doors, countertops and plumbing fixtures. Air Force construction site is located at 504 Virgin Street, Pope AFB, NC 28308. The following clauses/provisions are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial items, FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, FAR 52.225.13, Restrictions on Certain Foreign Purchases. The following clauses/provisions are incorporated in full text: FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders-commercial Items, paragraphs (b)(12)&(23), FAR 52.212-3 Contractor Certification & Representation, FAR 52.237-1, Site Visits, FAR 52.211-12, Liquidated Damages-Construction. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration system to be eligible to receive this award.
